Greyhound Racing Betting Tips Week 28th July 2016

Racing Post Greyhound Tv returns to our screens this evening with an excellent card from Monmore featuring plenty of open races while over at Henlow we have a tricky all graded card to try and work out. The bookmakers have priced up the racing so let’s crack on and find the winners!

The first race to highlight is the four bend open race from Monmore at 7.39. Making Paper is the selection for the race from T5. The 2015 greyhound derby finalist is a class act on a going day and looks well drawn tonight to turn handy and hit the front down the back straight. The key to the race for those that take the evens on offer from Bet365 will be the break and run into the first bend, avoid an early bump and it’s race on. Clondoty Alex (T1) and La Cuchilla (T2) are both top level performers and rate as huge dangers.

At 7.56 look out for Narabane Flyer who runs from T6 in the six bend 630 metre open race from Monmore. The Maxine Locke trained Romford raider has been keeping very good company over four bends of late and is now stepped up to six bends for the first time since February, on that occasion he bolted up and won by over eight lengths, if he traps out in best fashion and leads round it could be a similar outcome tonight. Jet Stream Style who runs from T1 rates as the main danger, if the Kevin Hutton trained runner was to lead round he will surely go close tonight. Pennys Miss (T2) impressed when she ran over course and distance on the 23rd June, a repeat of that run would put her in the mix tonight and she could be one to include in forecast bets.

A little later on look out for Jumeirah Delboy who lines up from T1 in the 8.41 open race from Monmore over the four bend trip of 480 metres. The lightly raced Hove raider has a chance if he leads round and could be overpriced at 7/1 with Bet365, take that price as Bet365 offer best odds guaranteed on the RPGTV action. Roswell Iceman (T4) is the class act in the race and looks the obvious danger, if Iceman traps out in best fashion he could prove hard to beat.

Mossvale Ace looks well drawn in the 9.30 open race from Monmore over the six bend trip and if he manages to hold the rails into the first corner the 2/1 on offer from Bet365 will look huge value. The key to the race for ‘Ace’ backers will be the break, with Mustang Golden (T2) not the quickest from the boxes theres every chances that Mossvale Ace could slip round and prove very hard to beat. Ferryforth Fran (T5) is a classy six bend performer and rates as the danger, if that rival was to trap out well he could go close. Shellam Delano (T6) stays this trip very well and would be a huge runner if within striking distance off the last bend.

The final selection on the Monmore card this evening is Boyneside Fun (T6) in the 9.48 open race. The early paced Charlie Lister trained runner looks plotted up as the solo wide seed in the race and should take this race with a level break. The 2016 William Hill greyhound derby quarter finalist is flying at the moment winning his last two around Shefield in impressive fashion, tonight if he avoids trouble at the first bend and hits the front off the second bend it could be all over bar the shouting down the back straight.

Over at Henlow look out for Savana Fatboy who runs from T3 in the A7 graded race at 9.06 over the four bend 460 metre trip. The June 12 son of Ten large Donwn looks well drawn to lead round and once on the bunny he could prove hard to beat in this grade. The key to victory will simply be the break, lead round and it’s race on for this consistent course and distance performer. Savana Rory (T4) is worth noting in the market, significant market support should be duly noted on Henlow début. Wide seed Ballykeefe Fly looks well drawn and could go close with a ping break, if shes a decent price include this runner in forecast bets.

The final selection tonight is Moors Matilda who lines up from T3 in the A4 graded race at 9.24. The John Gardener trained daughter of Coolavanny Bert has been a little below her best in recent months but bolted up last time out on her return to four bends and she could now be worth following. Don’t expect to see Moors Matilda up with the early pace but if she avoids an early bump and turns within striking distance it’s race on as she stays this 460 metre trip strong.

Look out for prices from Betfair Sportsbook on the all Racing Post Greyhound Tv action, they are often the first to price up each morning and offer best odds guaranteed so it really does pay to take the early prices.
