Saturday Premier League Betting Tips

Queens Park Rangers’ Premier League struggles look set to continue on Saturday, as they face the unenviable task of traveling to Stamford Bridge. Jose Mourinho’s men will be looking to record their fourth straight home win in the league, and you have to think they have a good chance of doing so.

Chelsea are clear favorites to win the match with underwhelming odds of 1.18 available, whilst QPR are given little chance at 17.00. Bet365 are also offering the draw at 8.50, which is another option probably not worth considering.

QPR picked up their first win in six games against Aston Villa on Monday, but they face a much tougher test in travelling to face Chelsea. Rangers and winless in nine away league games, including four defeats so far this season.

Rangers have conceded 12 goals on the road and have only managed one in return. Conceeding goals has been a massive problem, but Chelsea need no help in scoring them themselves. Mourinho’s men have hit the net 11 times in four home game sthis season. If you include cup ties, Chelsea have scored 20.

Diego Costa will return on Saturday, and with Rio Ferdinand suspended and Nedum Onuha struggling with injury, the Hoops will once again be short of depth at the back. Joey Barton is also suspended.

When you look at the form of the two sides, I can’t see any reason why this won’t be another straight forward win for the Blues.

Leicester will hope to continue their unbeaten home start to the season on Saturday, whilst visitors West Brom will be hoping they can improve their form on the road. They’ve picked up just one win away from home this season, and both sides sit just above the relegation zone.

The visitors have scored in their last five Premier League games, and although Leicester haven’t scored in two, they have still managed 10 goals in their four home games, including their riotus five goal thrashing of United.

It seems extremely likely to me that both of these sides will find the net here, as neither are too sure of themselves at the back right now.

Leicester have a near full strength squad to pick from, whilst West Brom are without Yacob and Olsson which makes conceding goals easier to come by, but Irvine will have Sessegnon and Berahino back in the line-up at the other end.

I expect a fairly entertaining game with plenty of goals at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
