Favourit Online Bookies Free Bet review

About Favourit
Favourit are a new, up and coming bookmaker with big ideas, after getting their license in August 2015, they have gone from strength to strength and are now quite popular within the online gambling community due to their fresh approach to betting and some other key features of the site that will be discussed later in the review. One of the things that Favourit are often commended on is their ‘human’ approach, they don't feel like a massive betting conglomerate and they don't act like one either. The idea of creating an online gambling community really appeals to them and if that appeals to you too then they should be considered next time you fancy a cheeky bet.

Favourit Free Bet, Promotions and Bonuses

As with any reputable bookie in this day and age, Favourit offer you the standard free bet welcome bonus if you’re a new customer however, what separates Favourit from its competitors is that the free bet is matched up to £100! So you will get a deposit into your account in the shape of a free bet for ANY first bet up to £100. That is a very generous first offer.

Favourit also like to look after the long standing, loyal customer and do that in the form of enhanced odds on many accumulators and favoured sporting events around the world such as the 2016 European Championships and Roland Garros tennis.

User Interface and Graphics

The first initial impression of the Favourit betting site is that it is rather simplistic but this is a continuation of the impression that they have tried to create. Simple and understandable but with plenty of substance.

The sports are listed on the left side of the homepage just like most other sites with quite an impressive selection available whilst in the middle there is a dedicated in play console with results, scores and statistics constantly updating before your eyes so that you do not make a bet based on older information.

The right side of the homepage is where it gets interesting; you are able to see the bets that are being put on by other members of the site! So you can have an insight into which bets are currently popular and who has gone for a crazy accumulator…It makes you feel more like part of a community knowing what other people in your position are betting on at the same time as you.

Another classy touch from the guys at Favourit is the tutorial guide, each time you enter a page for the first time, a helpful pop up box explaining how everything works in that section well….pops up, its very helpful to casual gamblers and can be turned off easily if you experienced in the world of online betting.

The simple nature of the site makes it very easy for rookie and experienced gamblers alike, though the colour scheme probably needs a little bit of work.

Available Betting Markets at Favourit

When it comes to markets, Favourit has a vast array to choose from, I’ll be honest, football is the main focus of this bookmaker and it is the sport that boasts the most available markets to choose from when betting, this is usually around 27 markets per fixture such as HT/FT, number of corners/cards and Asian handicap betting.

There are number of other sports to choose from though which all have their own individual markets, the most popular sports after football tend to be horse racing which itself along with tennis and golf have a wide variety of betting markets to choose from.

Then you get to your lesser known sports such as martial arts, floorball and Aussie Rules Football which tend to have less markets however, the fact that you can bet on them in the first place is testament to Favourit’s foray into the less favoured sporting betting world.

They also offer Rugby League and Union as well as most of your American sports like Basketball, Baseball and American Football. Basically what I’m saying is, you will never be short of markets and/or sporting events/sports to bet on, Favourit has it all.

Favourit Odds and Prices

This section is where Favourit really comes into its own and is the reason I said earlier that a lot of online gamblers favour this site in particular. I am of course talking about Community Betting. Favourit has a system where punters earn points for winning bets and that is translated onto a leaderboard so you can compare how you’re doing against other customers and have a friendly competition with them, but it doesn’t stop there because whoever is at the top of that leaderboard each month is given a prize by the bookie! It is usually a cash prize or something worth a couple of hundred pounds so it is definitely worth trying. You can also directly challenge another member to what is essentially a ‘bet off’ with points on offer if you can beat them. This completely changes the betting scene as its one of the first innovations I have seen that take advantage of the fact that this is done online and added a social aspect to it.

In terms of general odds, Favourit’s are competitive with other bookmakers of similar size in the industry and tend to offer fair prices.

In-Play Betting

Just like many other gambling sites, Favourit has a section tailored purely for in-play betting, in-play has become very popular amongst betting enthusiasts in the past few years and Favourit have jumped onto this particular bandwagon offering all of the usual markets available before the match or game starts.

A lot of money can be made if in-play betting is done correctly and Favourit make sure to constantly update their statistics and prices to ensure that you can bet confidently on a particular market.

Mobile App

Favourit do have mobile betting applications and they’re available from the iOS store and/or directly via the website on Apple devices and Android ones too. They’re website is also mobile friendly should you wish to just use your phone internet browser.

Payment Methods and Customer Support

In terms of support for their punters, Favourit has a very helpful FAQs page that answers most simple queries and some complicated ones. They are also contactable by email however, they do not have a live chat window which means that queries may take a little while longer to be answered if you can’t find it in the FAQ page.

When it comes to forking over your money to them, they allow you to do this in many different ways such as credit/debit cards as well as e-wallet payments like PayPal and Neteller in a variety of different currencies.
